Junius Williams

Junius Williams, a local birder in Branch Brook Park, is a nationally recognized attorney, musician, educator and independent thinker who has been at the forefront of the Civil Rights and Human Rights Movements in this country for decades. Junius is host of the Everything’s Political Podcast (click here). Through conversations about social justice issues, Junius and his guests help the listener connect the dots to reveal the true American experience, as it plays out in the community, or in our living room. Junius Williams is also author of the book, “Unfinished Agenda: Urban Politics in the Era of Black Power” (click here).

Christian Cooper

Emmy-winning host of  National Geographic TV's “Extraordinary Birder” and author of NY Times bestselling memoir “Better Living Through Birding”. Christian Cooper is an American science writer and editor, and also a comics writer and editor. He is based in New York City. In 2023, Random House published Cooper's memoir, Better Living Through Birding: Notes from a Black Man in the Natural World (click here). He is a graduate of Harvard University with a degree in Government.
